Diglipur, June 1: On 31.05.2026, a PRI Meeting was convened at Police Station Diglipur under the chairmanship of Sh. Rahul Vikram, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur. The meeting was attended by PRI members, local dignitaries, representatives of various departments, and other stakeholders of the region.
The deliberations focused on strengthening community policing, enhancing police-public partnership, and addressing issues concerning law and order, public safety, and community welfare. Participants shared valuable suggestions to further promote a safe and secure environment.
Further, as part of the one-month Summer Camp being conducted by PS Diglipur, participating children visited the Police Station, Police Radio Station, and Fire Station at Diglipur. The visit familiarized them with police functioning, emergency response systems, and the role of law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace and public safety, while strengthening police-youth engagement.
The programme concluded with lunch at PS Diglipur and reflects the continued commitment of N&MA Police towards community engagement, public awareness, and youth outreach initiatives.
