
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 31: Acting on a credible tip-off, the Aberdeen Police Station conducted a raid in a Bar & Restaurant at Delanipur area for selling IMFL bottles without peg system by violating of Bar license on 23/08/2025.
On 23/08/2025, acting on specific information, a raiding team comprising of Insp. Vishal Ram, SHO PS Aberdeen, SI Samiran Mridha, HC Sunil Singh Yadav, and Constables Jagdish Babu, K. Jayraj, Surender and Rafique conducted a raid in a Bar & Restaurant at Delanipur. A person was found coming out from the bar carrying 06 sealed 750 ml IMFL bottles and admitted purchasing them from the bar counter. CCTV footage confirmed the unauthorized sale, which is a gross violation of bar license terms. Following this, 250 Nos. (750 ml bottle), 134 Nos. (375 ml bottle), 620 Nos. (180 ml bottle) IMFL bottles and 220 beer bottles were seized from the bar and godown. Legal action has been initiated against the buyer and bar manager.
A case has been registered against Pandi Raja S/o Late G. Ghosh (38) yrs Pvt Worker R/o Mohanpura (the purchaser) and Johnson David S/o Late J David (63) Yrs R/o Buniyadabad, (the Bar Manager) under relevant sections of law.
The entire raid was supervised by Insp. Vishal Ram, SHO PS Aberdeen under the command of Sh. Ajay Kumar Rai, DANIIPS, SDPO South Andaman.
