PS Pahargaon Solves Blind Murder Case at Dollygunj Graveyard Within Four Hours

Sri Vijaya Puram, May 25: Police Station Pahargaon successfully solved a sensational blind murder case at the Dollygunj Graveyard within four hours. The incident began with an altercation between the victim and the accused persons, during which the accused assaulted the victim with fists and kicks. After the victim fell unconscious, both accused fled from the spot.

On 24/05/2026, an information was received that V. Shankar, 36 yrs S/o Late P. Velu R/o Garacharma was found lying dead at the Graveyard. Upon receipt of the information, an FIR was registered at PS Pahargaon and investigation was immediately taken up.

A special investigation team comprising Inspr. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO Pahargaon, SIs Regan Issac, Manish Narayan, Nirmala, ASI Semaiah, Mohd. Ali, HCs Santosh, Jairaj and PC C.Samsudeen was constituted. The team carried out intensive ground work and collected intelligence inputs. Through technical analysis and sustained field verification, two suspects were identified and apprehended in swift raids. During interrogation, accused namely K. Krishna, 32 yrs, R/o Mayabunder and Sagar Kumar Xaxa, 31 yrs R/o Hutbay confessed to the crime.

The case was investigated under the command of Inspr. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO Pahargaon with the guidance of Shri. Deependar Kumar, DANIPS, SDPO (SA) and overall supervision of Smti. Apoorva Gupta, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
