Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 23: A two-day State-Level Training Programme on the e-Office Portal was conducted on Jan. 21 & 22 by the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) scheme for the officials of Gram Panchayats of South Andaman & N&M Andaman District in the SPRC Training Hall, Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, Marine Hill. In his inaugural address, Shri Bijoy Kumar Das, State Nodal Officer (RGSA) emphasized the role of capacity-building initiatives under RGSA in empowering Panchayat functionaries.
The Resource Persons from the Directorate, Shri Dweependu Halder, Shri C.H. Kiran Kumar & Ms. Naina conducted the training through interactive and hands-on sessions, combining technical orientation with practical demonstrations of the e-Office Portal. The participants were trained on digital file creation, noting and drafting, electronic file movement, and disposal of files in a secure and structured digital environment, enabling the creation of a paperless and efficient office ecosystem.
In her welcome address, Smti. K.A. Prameela, Assistant Director (RD/P) highlighted the importance of adopting digital platforms for transparent, efficient, and accountable governance at the grassroots level.
