Sri Vijaya Puram, May 23: The 2nd day of the 7th State Level Football League-cum-Knockout Tournament for U-17 Boys witnessed intense matchups and commendable displays of sportsmanship at Netaji Stadium and JNRM Football Ground. The event, which kicked off yesterday with great enthusiasm, continued to highlight the remarkable talent and sportsmanship of young footballers representing nine zones from across Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

On Day 2 of the tournament, Wimberlygunj secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Mayabunder zone, displaying solid defensive skills and tactical discipline. Car Nicobar dominated their match against Rangat with an impressive 6–0 win, marking the highest-scoring game of the day. Meanwhile, the clash between Little Andaman and Nancowrie ended in a goalless draw, with both teams displaying solid defensive setups but struggling to convert opportunities. In the final match of the day, Campbell Bay and Sri Vijaya Puram settled for a 1–1 draw in a closely fought contest that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
