Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 7: In a moment of pride and celebration, the Rotary Club of Port Blair felicitated Neharika. D, aged 6, for her outstanding performance in the 1st Shatranj India Open FIDE-Rated Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament 2025 held in New Delhi.
Neharika clinched 4th position in both the Rapid and Blitz formats in the Under-8 Girls category, representing the Andaman & Nicobar Islands with remarkable grace and talent.
To honour her incredible achievement, she was presented with a gift hamper, a token amount and certificate of achievement. The felicitation was conducted in the presence of Rtn. Deepak Kumar, President, Rotary Club of Port Blair, Rtn. Arun Srivastava General Secretary and Rtn Faisal.
