Car Nicobar, July 30: The ‘Sampoornata Abhiyaan Samman Samaroh’ at the District Level for the Aspirational Block Programme was organized yesterday at Priyadarshini Hall, Tamaloo, Car Nicobar, in accordance with the directions received from NITI Aayog. The event was graced by Shri Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar District, who felicitated Block-Level Officers and Front-Line Workers from various Departments for achieving saturation in specific indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyaan.
The programme also featured testimonials from successful Self-Help Group (SHG) women and TB survivors, under the initiative ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’, highlighting personal stories of resilience and transformation.
The ceremony showcased inter-departmental cooperation, with enthusiastic participation from multiple Government Departments and local stakeholders. Informative kiosks were set up by Departments to exhibit on-going welfare schemes and developmental initiatives being implemented in the district.
The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the District Administration’s commitment to holistic, inclusive and sustainable development in the Nicobar District.
