SARAS Mela 2025 Continues to Dazzle Visitors on Day 3

Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 16: The SARAS Mela 2025 at ITF Ground continued to dazzle visitors on Day 3, offering a lively blend of culture, craftsmanship, and cuisine as footfall surged significantly throughout the day.

The cultural stage came alive with a vibrant line-up of traditional and contemporary performances. The evening opened with a captivating traditional song and dance by Nancowry, followed by an energetic group performance from Prothrapur. Members of the Humfreygunj SHGs delivered a heartfelt act, complemented by soulful songs from Cluster Coordinators Tarak and Paul. The celebration scaled new heights with the Royal Musical Group headlining the night, after which Shri. Anil from the HGC-RD Department enthralled the audience with a special number. The Art & Culture Department’s orchestra added grandeur to the event, setting the perfect tone for a spectacular finale by the Soul Performance Orchestra.

On the commercial front, Day 3 built on the strong momentum of Day 2, which recorded impressive overall sales of approximately Rs. 2.6 lakh. SHG stalls continued to be a major attraction, drawing crowds with their diverse artisanal products and innovative offerings. The Food Court remained bustling as visitors indulged in a wide range of flavorful dishes from stalls representing various blocks. Notably, the Tamil Nadu stall stood out with sales of nearly Rs. 10,000, emerging as one of the top performers and setting a strong benchmark for the event’s ongoing success.
