Hutbay, Oct. 15: To mark World Sight Day 2025, a School Level Eye Screening Camp was organized recently at GSS VK Pur under the Inclusive Education Programme. The camp aimed to identify and treat refractive errors and other eye-related problems among students and teachers. Smt. Shiny, Ophthalmologist, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Ms. Sagarika Mistry, Health Educator, and Smt. Laxmi, Community Health Officer (CHO) from Sub Centre VK Pur, delivered an informative speech on the importance of eye care and regular eye check-ups.
The camp screened a total of 153 students, identifying one student with an eye injury who was referred for follow-up treatment. A large number of students and teachers benefited from the camp.
