Sri Vijaya Puram, July 10: The Department of Science & Technology, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information, Publicity & Tourism (IP& T), will organise a Painting Competition as part of the Monsoon Festival-2026 celebrations. The competition is open to all and will be conducted in two categories: Junior Category (5-17 years) and Senior Category (18 years and above). It will be held on 14th July, 2026 at 9.30 am at Science & Technology Awareness Hub, Dollygunj, on the theme “Save Environment, Save Our Earth.”
Selected paintings will be exhibited during the Monsoon Festival-2026, and the winners will be felicitated during the valedictory function of the festival.

Participants have been requested to bring their own painting materials, while drawing sheets will be provided by the Department. The Department of Science & Technology has invited students, artists, and members of the general public to participate in the competition and showcase their creativity while spreading the message of environmental conservation through art.
