Sri Vijaya Puram, July 28: A sensitization programme on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the Workplace was organized at ANIIMS recently bringing together over 70 participants, including doctors, junior residents, interns and other healthcare professionals.
Prof. (Dr.) Mukesh Tripathi, Director (ANIIMS) emphasized that a safe and dignified workplace is fundamental to any institution, particularly in the healthcare sector where women constitute a significant proportion of the workforce. Dr. M. K. Saha, Medical Superintendent, G.B. Pant Hospital, appreciated the initiative, encouraging all healthcare professionals to contribute towards maintaining a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
The technical session was conducted by Ms. Rubina Khatib Siddiqui, Certified POSH Master Trainer & Consultant and President, Rights For All (RFA). The session was highly interactive and well received by the participants. Doctors and Residents actively participated throughout the programme, raising practical questions and sharing workplace perspectives during an engaging question-and-answer session.
