Manglutan, Aug 12: The Department of Education, A & N Administration, successfully completed a three-day chess training programme for students under CRC Manglutan with a simultaneous chess event held at GMS Manglutan today. Altogether, forty enthusiastic boys and girls participated in the sessions and the concluding simul event.
Smti. R. Sulochana, Headmistress (Middle), GMS Manglutan, made the ceremonial move to begin the chess simul, which was conducted to assess the students’ learning and application of skills acquired during the training. Based on their assignments and performance in the simul, Khushi Kha, Ayushi Kujur, Sharmila Biswas, Ruma Mondal, and Arth were adjudged the best performers among the girls, while Arvind, Ayank Das, Prajwal Dung Dung, Shiva Bala, and Shyan Roy were declared the top performers among the boys
The Headmistress presented prizes to the winners and encouraged all students to pursue the game with dedication.
