Three-Day Food Festival Celebrating Rich Culinary Diversity of the Islands Concludes

Sri Vijaya Puram, April 19: The three-day Food Festival organized by the Tourism Department at ITF Ground concluded successfully today, drawing enthusiastic crowds and celebrating the rich culinary diversity of the islands. The festival, which commenced amid vibrant cultural performances and wide participation, witnessed an impressive turnout of locals and tourists alike over the past three days. A wide array of food stalls featuring traditional delicacies, regional Indian cuisines, and popular street food items attracted food lovers throughout the event.

Visitors relished specialties, and a variety of continental and fusion cuisines, making the festival a true culinary delight. The event also provided a platform for local chefs, self-help groups, and small entrepreneurs to showcase their culinary skills and promote indigenous flavors.

Adding to the festive atmosphere were live cooking demonstrations, music performances, and cultural programmes that entertained visitors each evening.

Meanwhile, as part of the festival, a chess competition was also organised at the venue and the winners were awarded prizes.

Mementoes were presented to the participants of cultural programmes while Certificates were distributed to stall vendors.
