Sri Vijaya Puram, April 2: The Department of Tourism, A&N Administration invites applications from food vendors, State Association, SHGs, Hoteliers, Restaurant Owners, Catering Institution, Homemakers to participate in the upcoming Island Food Festival 2026 scheduled to be held from 17th April to 19th April 2026 at the ITF Ground. The festival showcases a variety of local, regional, and national cuisines, offering food vendors, a platform to promote their products, connect with a wide audience, and enhance their visibility and business prospects.
Interested vendors with a focus on quality, hygiene, and creativity are invited to apply. Application forms along with detailed guidelines can be obtained from the Operational Unit, Directorate of IP&T, Sri Vijaya Puram. The festival will be open from 4 pm to 9 pm on all three days, promising lively evenings filled with delicious food, vibrant ambiance, music and enthusiastic crowds. The allotment of stalls will be carried out through a lottery system, ensuring a fair and transparent process as per the terms and conditions outlined in the application form. The application forms along with terms and conditions for allotment of stalls can be obtained and submitted at the Operational Section of the Directorate of IP&T, Sri Vijaya Puram as per the details given below. Stalls to the selected State Associations/SHGs will be allotted on rent free basis.
Live Kitchen: Rs.13,500/- each @ Rs. 4,500/- per day – Security Deposit Rs.6,000/- each stall
Cooked / Packed homemade Food/Health drinks: Rs.10,500/- each – Security Deposit Rs.6,000/- each stall
Open area for Fun games/Bouncy etc.: Rs. 486.11/- per sq. mtr – Security Deposit Rs.6,000/- each stall
