Training Programme Conducted for Census Functionaries of Urban Areas

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 30: A training programme for Census Functionaries of Urban Areas was conducted today at four different locations, namely SVPMC Auditorium, Girls’ School Auditorium, ICCC Building (Link Road) and DBRAIT Conference Hall.

The training sessions were conducted by the Field Trainers appointed for the purpose of imparting training to the designated Supervisors and Enumerators. During the programme, the trainers provided detailed guidance on the procedures and protocols to be followed for the conduct of Census operations.

The sessions covered important aspects relating to the roles and responsibilities of Supervisors and Enumerators, data collection methodologies, and adherence to prescribed Census guidelines. The training aimed to ensure that all functionaries are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for the effective and smooth conduct of the upcoming Census activities.

The programme was conducted successfully across all venues, ensuring that the Census functionaries are being adequately prepared for the effective implementation of Census operations in urban areas. The training programme will continue for the remaining two days as scheduled.
