Sri Vijaya Puram, July 26: The general public have been informed that two Myanmarese nationals namely Wai Phyo and Aye Tun have absconded from the Open Distress Camp, Prothrapur in the intervening night on 25/07/2026. Upon receipt of the information, the South Andaman District Police immediately initiated a search operation. Intensive efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the absconding individuals. The description of the two Myanmarese nationals are mentioned above.
The general public have been requested to remain vigilant. If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the above-mentioned persons, they are requested to immediately inform the nearest Police Station or contact phone no. 112, 9474260666, 03192-250525 & 03192-236641. The informant will be rewarded suitably by A & N Police.
