Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 7: Thunderstorm and lightning with gusty wind (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is very likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Sept. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13.
Swell waves in the range of 17.0 – 19.0 sec period with 1.2 – 1.3 m height have been forecasted upto 2330 hours on 08-09-2026. It advised that there is a possibility of surging of waves, boats to ply with utmost vigilance, recreation with due care.
