Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 31: Thunderstorm with gusty wind (40-50 kmph) is very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 1. Thunderstorm with gusty wind (30-40 kmph) is also very likely to occur at one or two places over A&N Islands on Sept. 2 & 3. Squally weather with surface wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph is very likely to prevail over Andaman Sea & A&N Islands. Sea condition is also likely to be rough. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea along and off Andaman Sea & A&N Islands till Sept. 4. High waves are forecasted till Sept. 2. It is further advised that to be careful while doing marine operations and nearshore recreation.
