
Sri Vijaya Puram, May 5: The Sant Nirankari Mandal, Branch Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), successfully organized its 30th Blood Donation Camp on 03rd May 2026 (Sunday) from 09:30 AM to 01:30 PM at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Junglighat.
The camp was conducted in collaboration with G.B. Pant Hospital and the Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS). The experienced doctors and medical team carried out the blood donation process in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner after proper health screening of the donors. A total of 83 individuals registered for blood donation, out of which 57 donors successfully donated blood, including 14 female donors and 43 male donors, while the remaining were deferred due to medical reasons such as low haemoglobin, high blood pressure and other health-related parameters.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Padma Shri Awardee Shri Naresh Chander Lal, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. Shri R. K. Raj, Councellor, Ward No.7 & Chairman, OBC (ANTCC) was present as the Guest of Honour, while Dr. Divya (RJ), Blood Bank, G.B. Pant Hospital attended as a Special Guest.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from voluntary blood donors, contributing significantly towards saving precious human lives.
