Sri Vijaya Puram, April 23: The valedictory function of the 8th Poshan Pakhwada organized by the ICDS Urban Project today at the Junglighat Municipal Complex, marking the conclusion of a series of events dedicated to spreading awareness about nutrition and health.
The programme was attended by the Smti. Zarina Bibi, Programme Officer, ICDS, Shri. Ravi Chandran, Ward Councillor, Ward No. 09, Shri. Raj, Ward Councillor, Ward No. 07, Smti. Uma Devi, CDPO ICDS Urban Project, representatives from Hope Foundation, Mukhya Sevikas, ANMs, Poshan staff, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), and general public.
During the function, prizes were distributed by ICDS Urban Project & Hope Foundation to enthusiastic participants who actively took part in various competitions and awareness activities conducted during the 8th Poshan Pakhwada from 09/04/2026 to 23/04/2026. These activities aimed to engage the community men, women, and children in understanding the importance of nutrition and adopting healthy practices.
