Baratang, April 7: On 07.04.2026, Firefighters of Fire Station Baratang conducted Firefighting Refresher Training for Fire Mitras enlisted with FS Baratang.
The training aimed to refresh the skills and knowledge imparted during their earlier training, and to enhance preparedness in responding to fire and emergency situations. Fire Mitras were briefed on updated firefighting techniques, safety protocols and response mechanisms through practical demonstrations.
Such refresher programmes strengthen community participation in fire safety and enhance the capacity of trained volunteers to assist Fire & Emergency Services during emergencies.
