Ograbraj, April 29: The Fish Market with the Cold Storage Facility at Ograbraj, near Tushnabad Junction under Gram Panchayat Mithakhari, was successfully inaugurated today in a dignified ceremony.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Smti. Lalita Tigga, Executive Officer / Block Development Officer, Ferrargunj, who inaugurated the facility and appreciated the efforts of the Gram Panchayat in strengthening local infrastructure and supporting the livelihood of fishermen and vendors in the area.
The event was attended by Shri. MOHD Safiq, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Mithakhari, who welcomed the Chief Guest and highlighted the importance of the Fish Market in boosting the local economy and ensuring better hygienic conditions for fish trading.
Among the other dignitaries present were Shri. T. Mohammed Rafique, Panchayat Samiti Member, Mithakhari Constituency, Shri. Mohd Jalal, Up-Pradhan, Shri. T.P Mohammed Rafique, Sarpanch, Shri. Mohd Samim, Ward Member, Smti. Khadeeja, Ward Member and Shri. Javed Hameed, Panchayat Secretary, GP Mithakhari, Shri. Ashraf, VLW GP Mithakhari along with the Villagers from Ograbraj, Muslimbasti, and Mithakhari.
The gathering expressed their appreciation for the initiative and conveyed that the new Fish Market would greatly benefit local vendors and residents by providing a dedicated and organized space for fish trade.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and interaction with the villagers.
