
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 17: Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), is encouraging youth, students, volunteers, and citizens to register themselves as ‘Nasha Mukti Mitr’ and actively contribute towards building a drug-free India. The initiative aims to strengthen public participation in spreading awareness against substance abuse, promoting healthy lifestyles, and supporting rehabilitation and recovery efforts for individuals affected by addiction.
Citizens can easily register by scanning the QR code provided in the official poster. Upon successful registration, participants will also receive a Certificate and Badge recognizing their contribution towards the social cause. The campaign highlights the importance of community support, awareness, prevention, and rehabilitation in addressing the growing challenge of drug abuse. Through collective efforts, society can help individuals recover with dignity and inspire positive change among youth. All citizens have been requested to come forward and join this nationwide movement to create a healthier, safer, and addiction-free society. ‘Together, let us spread awareness, support rehabilitation, and build a Nasha Mukt Bharat’.
