SCPS Conducts Pain Relief Clinic and Yoga Session at Abhyuday Complex to Mark International Day of Yoga

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 22: On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, a Pain Relief Clinic and Yoga Session was organized at Abhyuday Complex, Ferrargunj, through the collaborative efforts of the State Child Protection Society (SCPS) under Mission Vatsalya, Department of Social Welfare, A&N Administration, and PANKH NGO. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior citizens residing in the Old Age Home, children from the Children’s Home, and beneficiaries of Ashraya Home.

At the outset, the Program Manager, State Child Protection Society, Mission Vatsalya, highlighted the significance of yoga and healthy lifestyle practices in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The therapeutic and wellness sessions were conducted by specialists from SoulSync Alternative Therapy Clinic. 35 elderly residents of the Old Age Home benefitted from the therapeutic sessions, while children actively participated in yoga activities designed to improve physical fitness, concentration, discipline, and emotional resilience.
