Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 20: The District Advisory Committee Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shri Sushant Padha, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, with MY Bharat as the coordinating organization.
Addressing the Committee, Deputy Commissioner highlighted the objectives and initiatives of MY Bharat and emphasized the need for active engagement, participation and empowerment of the youth of North & Middle Andaman. He also referred to recent initiatives such as the Viksit Bharat – Vibrant Village Programme and opportunities for youth interaction with the Hon’ble Prime Minister, underscoring the significant role of young people in the nation-building process.
Thereafter, Shri Deepak Kumar, Member Secretary, made a detailed presentation on various Government of India schemes and initiatives being implemented through MY Bharat. The meeting also served as an important platform for interaction and coordination among various line departments and stakeholders. Discussions emphasized the need for stronger inter-departmental cooperation, effective outreach and coordinated implementation of youth-oriented programmes and initiatives at the district level.
