Investors/ Victims and General Public Requested to Cooperate with Police for Further Investigation
Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 22: The general public have been informed that FIR No. 28/2026 dated 14.05.2026, under Sections 3(5), 316(2), and 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, has been registered at Police Station Crime & Economic Offences, CID, Sri Vijaya Puram, and the investigation is in progress.
During the investigation, allegations have surfaced that Shri Jayant Biswas, Director of M/s JB.COM and M/s Metalloids Technology Pvt. Ltd., along with his associate Ms. Kiran Ghogre, allegedly induced members of the public across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to invest money in various schemes by promising high returns/dividends. The firm reportedly operated a branch office at Nayasahar, South Andaman.
In this regard investors/victims are requested to furnish their Fund Receipt Certificates/Bonds, bank statements, transaction receipts, details of amounts invested and other relevant supporting documents to facilitate verification and reconciliation of their claims. The verified investment details will be compiled and submitted before the Hon’ble Court.
Accordingly, all investors/victims who have invested money in M/s JB.COM or its associated investment schemes, as well as persons possessing relevant information, are requested to appear before Sub-Inspector Shaji Mathew, Investigating Officer (Mobile No. 9476084840), or Inspector D. Jagdishwar Rao, Station House Officer (Mobile No. 9474290250), at Police Station Crime & Economic Offences, CID Office, Aberdeen, Sri Vijaya Puram, from 24.10.2026 to 30.10.2026, between 0930 hrs and 1730 hrs. The verification process will be conducted in the presence of the defence counsel representing Shri Jayant Biswas.
