Sri Vijaya Puram, July 18: The Department of Art & Culture, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, has invited applications from registered cultural organizations based in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands for release of financial assistance in the form of Grant-in-Aid (GIA) for the financial year 2025–26.
The assistance will be extended in accordance with the “Andaman and Nicobar Islands Rules for Grant-in-Aid to Local Cultural Organizations” rules dated 03.09.2018. Grant-in-Aid of ₹25,000/- will be extended to each eligible organization.
To qualify, the cultural organizations must have a registered Office in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands; they must be actively engaged in the promotion of art and culture, national integration, and communal harmony; operational in these fields for a minimum period of one year.
Interested organizations must submit their applications in the prescribed format, along with all required supporting documents. The prescribed format for application can be downloaded from the website www.andaman.gov.in at the link: https://andaman.gov.in/admin-pannel/whatsnew/1-2930-GIA%20format%2025-26.pdf, or obtained from the Directorate of Art & Culture.
Completed applications should be submitted to the Director of Art & Culture Department, Cellular Jail Complex, Andaman & Nicobar Administration. The last date for submission is 20thAugust, 2025.
