
Sri Vijaya Puram, May 14: Apollo Clinic has recently conducted a series of Free Health Camps at various locations across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, reaffirming its commitment to accessible and quality healthcare for island residents.
As part of this outreach, a major Free Health Camp was held in Diglipur on April 30, 2025, at the Community Health Centre, Subhashgram, and continued on May 1, 2025, at Surya Medical Store, Subhashgram. Over 200 patients availed free medical services. The camp featured specialist consultations by Dr. A. Sai Srujan Reddy (Orthopedics), Lt. Col. (Dr.) Swamy M.V. (Retd.) (Gynecologist), and Dr. Bilwa Harsha Moutri (ENT). Services offered included vital checkups, ECG, diabetes screenings, and ENT endoscopy (at a nominal cost).
Earlier, on April 9, 2025, Apollo Clinic also organized a Free Health Camp at Shaheed Dweep, which witnessed encouraging participation from the local population seeking specialized healthcare access. More than 50 patients attended the camp.
Additionally, on April 26, 2025, a Free Health Camp was conducted at Wimberlygunj, where more than 80 patients benefited from consultations and basic diagnostic services provided by the Apollo team.
These camps aimed to bridge the healthcare access gap in remote island regions and were well-received by the public. Apollo Clinic remains dedicated to enhancing the well-being of the islanders and plans to conduct similar community outreach programs in the near future.
