India’s 66th Grandmaster G. Akash to inspire young Chess talents in A & N Islands

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 10: Grandmaster G. Akash, India’s 66th Grandmaster from Tamil Nadu, former National Chess Champion, and reputed chess coach, will be visiting the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

During his visit, GM Akash will conduct special sessions for rated and promising players at the ANCA Chess Centre, Dairy Farm, Sri Vijaya Puram. The program includes a Simultaneous Exhibition (Simul) on 13th September 2025 where he will take on multiple challengers, followed by an intensive six-hour training session on 14th September 2025.

This visit offers a rare and valuable opportunity for budding chess talents of the islands to learn directly from one of India’s leading Grandmasters, a former National Champion, and a reputed chess coach.
