Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 13: Dr. S. Radhakrishnan District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Garacharma, has commenced a 10-day Induction Training Programme for 11 newly recruited Primary School Teachers today. The inaugural session was held in the presence of Dr. Saraswati, Senior Faculty, and Shri Pavan S. Pyati, HoD (In-Service), along with all faculty members of DIET. This session marked the beginning of a comprehensive professional journey for the new teachers.
Over the ten days, the programme features interactive sessions, workshops, and reflective discussions. These are designed to familiarize the participants with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2022, and effective pedagogical practices to strengthen foundational learning in schools across the Islands.
