
Sri Vijaya Puram, June 2: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) proudly inaugurated its new office, marking a historic milestone in the association’s journey and reaffirming its commitment to the growth and development of tourism in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The new office was formally inaugurated by Dr. K. Chandrasekaran, President, Andaman Nicobar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ANCCI), who attended the event as the Chief Guest. His presence and encouraging words added great significance to the occasion and reflected the strong partnership between the tourism industry and the business community.
The event was also graced by distinguished Special Guests Shri Mohammed Jadwet of Makk Logistics, Advocate Rakesh Pal Govind, and Shri Anup of Nautika. Their presence, encouragement, and support added value to the occasion and were highly appreciated by the AATO fraternity.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. M. Vinod, President, AATO, described the inauguration as the realization of a long-cherished dream for the association. He stated that the new office is not merely a workplace but a symbol of unity, collective effort, and the shared vision of strengthening the tourism sector in the islands.
Mr. Vinod expressed heartfelt gratitude to all present and former Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members, AATO members, well-wishers, industry stakeholders, and partners whose dedication, trust, and support made this achievement possible.
The inauguration of the new AATO office is a proud moment for our entire tourism fraternity. This achievement belongs to every member who contributed towards building a stronger and more united tourism industry in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. We remain committed to working collectively for the sustainable growth and prosperity of tourism in our islands, he said.
The newly inaugurated office is expected to serve as a hub for collaboration, coordination, and industry engagement, further strengthening AATO’s efforts to promote tourism and address the concerns of stakeholders across the sector.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Saikat Biswas, General Secretary, AATO, who expressed sincere appreciation to the Chief Guest, Special Guests, members, well-wishers, and all those who contributed to making the occasion a grand success.
