Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 26: Aeromed Air Ambulance has achieved a major milestone of 100+ patient transfers from Port Blair to mainland hospitals, reaffirming its position as the most trusted lifeline for the island community.
Over the past year, Aeromed has successfully executed numerous airline stretcher services, each equipped with medical escorts, advanced monitoring equipment, and onboard oxygen support, ensuring patient safety during every critical transfer.

To enhance emergency medical response, Aeromed is in advanced discussions with the Andaman administration to station a dedicated private jet in the islands, which will drastically reduce evacuation time and improve critical care during air transfers.
As part of its expansion plan, Aeromed is also launching a new 24×7 Response Center in Port Blair, providing direct access to world-class air ambulance solutions for residents and hospitals across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
