Sri Vijaya Puram, April 7: As part of the upcoming International Day of Yoga 2026, the AYUSH Wing of the Directorate of Health Services, A&N Administration, organized the 75th-day countdown programmes, which were observed across the A&N Islands with active public participation. The International Day of Yoga will be celebrated on 21st June, 2026.
The event aimed to promote awareness about the benefits of yoga and encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle among the community. Participants actively engaged in various yoga practices under expert guidance, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere.
As part of the Yoga Mahotsav celebrations, a yoga session was organized at Flag Point, Sri Vijaya Puram by AYUSH Hospital. A total of 40 participants, including college students and members of the general public, enthusiastically took part in the session held under the supervision of Shri. Mangal Bhagat, Yoga Instructor, Ayush Hospital.
