Mayabunder, April 29: An Ayushman Arogya Shivir was conducted yesterday at Ganga Matha Temple, Mayabunder, by the health team of Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder. During the shivir, various healthcare services were provided, including screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Tuberculosis (TB), and General OPD services for both children and adults.
In the Shivir, Dr. Thirumani Prudhavi, Specialist Pediatrician, Dr. Haney Nickyson, JR (Allopathy), Dr. Mohini Mondal, MO (RBSK), Dr. Divya Singh, MO (Homeopathy), and dedicated health officials were present.
A comprehensive health awareness session was conducted covering important topics such as Leptospirosis, Measles, Dengue Fever, Malaria, Malnutrition, heat-related illnesses, and ABHA card creation. The awareness talk was delivered by Dr. Thirumani Prudhavi, Specialist Pediatrician, Dr. Mohini Mondal, MO (RBSK), Shri Y. Madhava Rao, District Programme Coordinator (NTEP), and Shri Prathap Dhali, Assistant Coordinator, Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder, among the general public.
As part of the 100 Days Campaign under TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2.0, a Jan Bhagidari event was also organized to promote community participation and awareness. About 62 patients availed the services.
