Bharatiya Janata Party Celebrates World Environment Day Across Andaman & Nicobar Islands

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, organized a series of programs on the occasion of World Environment Day, celebrated on 5th June 2025 at various locations across the Islands. The events were conducted under the leadership of Smti Sheela Singh, State Incharge of the programme and State Vice President, BJP Andaman & Nicobar Islands, along with Shri Sanjay Singh, State Vice President, BJP ANI.

The theme of the day centered on promoting environmental awareness, sustainability, and the responsibility of every citizen towards preserving nature. Activities included tree plantation drives across the Islands.

The program witnessed active and enthusiastic participation of BJP karyakartas from across the islands, making the event a huge success. Their dedication and commitment towards environmental causes reflected the party’s unwavering focus on sustainable development and community engagement.

Speaking on the occasion, Smti Sheela Singh emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges and preserving the unique biodiversity of the Islands. Shri Sanjay Singh also applauded the efforts of all the karyakartas and urged citizens to continue contributing to environmental protection in their daily lives.
