
Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 12: An outreach program is being organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party of West Bengal unit under which the Bengal leaders are traveling to various parts of the country where there are considerable population of Bengali Community.
Under this outreach program two top leaders of West Bengal namely, Shri. Pawan Kumar Singh, MLA, Shri. Amitava Roy, State Executive Member, West Bengal along with Shri. Vikas Gupta, Coordinator to MLA and Shri. Jyotirmoy Chakraborty are currently on a visit to the Islands. They are reaching out to various villages having thick population of Bengali Community and are educating them about the political scenario of West Bengal under the Mumta Banerjee regime. These leaders are working to garner support from Bengali residents and are asking them to contact their relatives in West Bengal to motivate them to support BJP in West Bengal.
Today in the evening the leaders from West Bengal visited the BJP State Office at Middle Point and interacted with the Office Bearers of BJP, A & N Islands. The Bengal leaders sought support from the local leadership in reaching out to the Bengali population of the Islands.
Shri. Anil Kumar Tiwari, State President, BJP, has assured full support from the local BJP unit in their endeavor and also promise them that a sizeable delegation from Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be sent to West Bengal for canvasing during the forthcoming assembly elections.
