Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 5: Shri Jai Prakash, National Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Party and Prabhari, A&N Islands, today visited Swaraj Dweep to participate in various political programs. He was accompanied by Shri Anil Kumar Tiwari, State President, BJP, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Hon’ble Member of Parliament among others. Soon after arrival at Swaraj Dweep, he visited the Anganwadi Centre and participated in Angan Milan program at Radha Nagar village. Large number of children, mothers and villagers were present during the programme. They were explained about various beneficial schemes and were motivated to take advantage of the various schemes.Snack packets were distributed to children and mothers.
Soon after the Angan Milan program the prabhari participated in a specially organised tree plantation event under ‘Ek Ped Maa ke nam’ programme.
In the evening Shri Jai Prakash ji presided over the meeting participated by PRI members, Mondal level and booth level karyakartas held at Govind Nagar Panchayat hall.
