Sri Vijaya Puram, May 10: In a noble initiative aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and strengthening humanitarian support for patients in need, a Blood Donation Camp will be organised on 13th May 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at Mansha Regency, Delanipur. The programme is being presented by Mansha in collaboration with Andaman Nomads Club (ANC), Navyug, Riding Squads of Andaman (RSA), Organisation for South & South East Asia Development (OFSSEAD) and Dreamz Nirvana Trust, with support from the AIDS Control Society.
The organisers have jointly appealed to the general public, youth, social organisations, government employees, students and responsible citizens to come forward and donate blood voluntarily to help save precious lives. The campaign is being conducted under the theme “Your Blood Can Be Someone’s Lifeline” and seeks to spread awareness about the importance of regular blood donation and community participation in healthcare support.
According to the organisers, a single unit of donated blood can save multiple lives during medical emergencies, surgeries, accidents and critical treatments. The event also aims to encourage healthy individuals to become regular donors and contribute towards maintaining adequate blood reserves in the islands.
Interested participants can register by scanning the QR code provided on the official event poster. The organisers have assured that all necessary medical protocols and safety measures will be strictly followed during the camp by trained healthcare professionals.
The collaborating organisations reiterated their commitment towards social welfare, public health awareness and humanitarian service, while urging citizens to participate actively in the life-saving initiative and make the camp a grand success.
