Sri Vijaya Puram, May 10: The Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, in coordination with the Departments of Education, Health, and Social Welfare, organized a Mega Aadhaar Camp at Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Sri Vijaya Puram, on 27th and 28th April, 2026.
The primary objective of the camp was to facilitate Aadhaar enrollment for children in the 0–5 years age group and to carry out Mandatory Biometric Updates (MBU1 & MBU2) for children aged 5–15 years and 15–17 years.
During the two-day camp, a total of 142 new Aadhaar enrollments were completed, along with 113 biometric updates, reflecting a strong response from the public.
The Department remains committed to ensuring universal Aadhaar coverage and will continue to organize similar camps in the coming days to cover all left-out children.
The general public have been advised to avail such opportunities and ensure timely biometric updates for their children, as mandated.
