Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 11: The valedictory function of the three-day Capacity Building Training Programme on “Empowering Foundational Education Teachers as KRPs through Technology Integration: Enhancing Classroom Teaching through Tablets” concluded today. Addressing the participants as the chief guest, Smti. Sangeeta Chand, Principal, SIE / DIET urged them to effectively disseminate the knowledge and skills acquired during the training to their respective schools, clusters, and educational zones, thereby ensuring wider academic impact.
Prof. Indu Kumar, Head, Department of Training and ICT, CIET–NCERT, along with her team, conducted engaging and hands-on sessions during the programme. They demonstrated the effective use of various national digital platforms such as DIKSHA, e-Pathshala, e-Jaadui Pitara, and PM e-Vidya Channels. In addition, participants were introduced to innovative applications including Canva, Stop Motion Animation tools, and AI-based tools to enhance teaching-learning processes in foundational classes.
The programme concluded with positive feedback from the participants, who appreciated the practical exposure to digital tools and expressed confidence in integrating technology into their classroom practices for improved learning outcomes.
