Sri Vijaya Puram, May 8: The Department of Art & Culture, A & N Administration will celebrate ‘Rabindra Jayanti’ to commemorate the 164th Birth Anniversary of Guru Rabindranath Tagore tomorrow (May 9) at 5 pm at Andaman Club. The event will feature a cultural programme, honoring Tagore’s literary and artistic contributions. ‘Rabindra Jayanti’ marks the birthday of the Nobel Laureate poet, writer, and philosopher Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, whose works have profoundly influenced Bengali literature, music and Indian culture. His timeless compositions and literary masterpieces continue to inspire generations. The celebration is open to the general public, inviting all to partake in the cultural homage to Tagore’s legacy.
