#desidelights Cuisines of India Festival 2025 Comes to a Joyful Conclusion at ITF Pavilion

Sri Vijaya Puram, July 6: The three-days ‘Cuisines of India Festival- 2025’ with vibrant theme #desidelights, showcasing India’s diverse culinary traditions organized by Tourism Department, in collaboration with the Food Safety Department and other line Departments came to a joyful conclusion today at the ITF Pavilion, with a lively prize distribution ceremony. The Director Tourism, Shri Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, as the chief guest of the closing ceremony, gave away prizes to the best food stall of the festival.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the effort of the Tourism Department, Food Safety Department along with allied Departments for the excellent arrangements and the smooth conduct of the 3-days festival. He further stated that the festival brings people together in celebration which foster community spirit and cultural pride. He further assured that efforts will be made to organize more such festivals during both peak and off-seasons to continue promoting local traditions and tourism.

Earlier, welcoming the gathering, the Director, Art & Culture, Ms. Priyanka Kumari expressed happiness in the smooth conduct of the festival through collaborative efforts. She also thanked the good gathering of people at the ITF making the 3-Day Festival a grand success.

During the festival, best 3 food stalls were selected and awarded cash prizes. First prize was won by M/s Doiwala Sweets, School Line (Rs. 10000/-), M/s Calcutta Sweet Stall, Junglighat received the second prize (Rs. 8000/-) and M/s Icy Spicy, Junglighat got the third prize (Rs. 5000/-).
