Sri Vijaya Puram, March 23: The Andaman & Nicobar Police has organized the DGP Cup T-20 League-cum-Knockout Cricket Tournament (Season-4)–2026 at IRBn HQ, Port Mout Cricket Ground, and Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram. A total of 36 teams are participating in the tournament, reflecting enthusiastic involvement from across the islands.
The tournament commenced on 23rd March 2026 with an exciting inaugural match between BB XI and Travel Mania, setting the stage for a competitive and engaging series ahead.
In the opening match, BB XI posted an impressive total of 210 runs. Travel Mania put up a spirited effort but managed to score 169 runs. Both teams displayed commendable discipline, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. With this convincing victory, BB XI has made a strong start in the tournament.
Through such initiatives, the Andaman & Nicobar Police continues to promote discipline, physical fitness, and constructive engagement among youth, while strengthening community policing and fostering closer ties between the police and the public.
