Sri Vijaya Puram, June 15: The Directorate of Education is organizing a Monsoon Book Reading Festival from 16th to 22nd June, 2025 at the State Library, Sri Vijaya Puram, between 10 am and 1 pm. The festival is specially curated for children aged 06 to 18 years (Class I to XII) and aims to foster creativity and enhance literacy skills among the young minds of A&N Islands.
A wide range of engaging and educational activities will be held, including storytelling sessions, treasure hunts, craft making, quiz competitions, story and slogan writing, news reading, and documentary film screenings.
This initiative by the Directorate is expected to provide a platform for children to explore their imagination and express themselves creatively.
