Sri Vijaya Puram, May 01: On the occasion of May Day, the Forest Labour Union organized a rally from Chatham Saw Mill to Van Sadhan, highlighting the unity, strength, and rights of workers.
The rally was held under the leadership and guidance of Shri Rangalal Halder, President ANTCC, and Shri T.S.G. Bhasker, National Vice President INTUC Federation and President, Forest Labour Union.
A large number of workers from the Chatham Mill Division led by Works Committee Members actively participated in the rally, demonstrating solidarity and commitment to the cause of labour rights.
The event was attended by Shri. John Robert Babu, President, District Congress, Smt. Zubaida Begum, President, Mahila Congress, Shri. Mohd. Rafique, General Secretary INTUC, Shri. P.B Murugan, President Block Congress, Smt. Fathima Imtiaz, Congress Leader, Shri. Vikram, General Secretary Youth Congress, Smt. Fareeda Bibi, Congress Leader, Shri. Eswar Rao, Congress Leader, Shri. Gyanasekaran, Congress Leader, Shri. Balakrishna, Vice-President, FLU, Shri. P. Kannan, General Secretary, FLU, and several other leaders who extended their solidarity and support to the workers.
