Identification and Assessment Camp for CwSNs Organised at GMSSS Hutbay

Hutbay, Aug. 5: An Identification and Assessment Camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) under the Inclusive Education component of Samagra Shiksha was successfully organized by the Block Project Office (BPO), Little Andaman today at CRC, PM SHRI GMSSS Hutbay. The camp was formally inaugurated by Shri J. Senthil Kumar, Teacher In-Charge, PM SHRI GMSSS Hutbay.     The medical assessment was conducted by the medical team from PHC Hutbay.  The camp witnessed the participation of 26 students along with their parents/guardians. During the identification and assessment process, 4 students were identified as suspected cases requiring further evaluation and intervention.

As part of the initiative, Teaching-Learning Material (TLM) Kits and a Braille Kit were distributed to three eligible CwSN students based on their individual educational needs, with the objective of supporting their learning and promoting inclusive classroom participation.
