Sri Vijaya Puram, June 25: On 25th June 2026, the Institution of Engineers (India) – Andaman & Nicobar State Centre celebrated World Environment Day with the theme “Global Call for Climate Action” at the ALHW Office Premises. The celebration featured a plantation drive, during which two coconut seedlings were planted by Er. Usha Stephen, FIE Chairperson, and Er. D. Satyamoorty, FIE Deputy Chief Engineer (Mechanical) ALHW.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from all corporate members of the State Centre, who actively took part in the plantation drive, reaffirming their commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development. The programme highlighted the importance of collective action towards combating climate change and promoting a greener, healthier future.
