Sri Vijaya Puram, May 29: The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day was celebrated in a befitting manner in the conference hall of the BSNL Bhavan at Sri Vijaya Puram. The program was celebrated jointly by the Institution of Engineers (India) Andaman Nicobar State Centre and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited A&N Circle. Er. G. Kumareshan, DGM HQ BSNL was the Chief guest on the occasion and Er. Khule, AGM HQ BSNL was the Technical Speaker.
The program started with lightning the Traditional Lamp and a welcome address by the Chairperson of the Institution of Engineers (India) ANSC followed by address by the Chief Guest and the Technical Talk. Engineers from various Departments and Organisations witnessed the program. The event concluded with felicitation of the Chief Guest and Speaker followed by vote of thanks by the Honorary Secretary Er. Debdas Paik, MIE.
