
Car Nicobar, May 29: The Summer Camp organized by Nicobar District Police across all Police Stations from 09.05.2026 concluded successfully on 29.05.2026. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 150 children across the district.
During the camp, children were engaged in a variety of activities including singing, dancing, self-defence training, awareness on traffic rules, and interactive sessions on personal safety, particularly focusing on “good touch and bad touch” for girls. The camp also emphasized creativity, sports, moral values, discipline, teamwork, confidence-building and overall personality development through fun-filled and educational activities.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Shri Rahul L Nair, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District, appreciated the active participation of children and the dedicated efforts of police personnel in organizing the camp. He highlighted that such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening police-public relations and nurturing responsible, aware, and confident young citizens. He further encouraged children to carry forward the values and lessons learned during the camp in their daily lives.
This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of Nicobar District Police towards building a safer, smarter, and stronger future for children by providing meaningful engagement during the vacation period.
