Port Blair, Oct. 10: World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10, every year, providing an invaluable opportunity to foster dialogue, awareness, and understanding surrounding mental health issues. The theme of World Mental Health Day 2023 is ‘Mental health is a universal human right.’

Port Blair, Oct. 10: A delegation of AATO led by its President, Shri M. Vinod met Shri V. Devendar Yadav, Airport Director at his office today and discussed about the short timing of two minutes for vehicles entering Airport as published.

The Airport Director clarified that the Vehicles Entering Airport will be given eight minutes for dropping and necessary instructions for the same is already given to the concerned.

Car Nicobar, Oct. 10: Among various awareness programs, this time the Nicobar District Police organised a self defense class, with the slogan “Darna Nahi Ladna Hai”, for the students. Under this program students of GSSS Malacca, Car Nicobar were demonstrated UAC (Un Armed Combat) through Nukkad Natak and some techniques for self defense were also displayed by the Police staff. The program was organised by Shri. Vijay Singh, DANIPS, DySP Nicobar under the supervision of Shri. Manjeet Sheoran, IPS, SP(D) Nicobar.
